Developing an Inclusive Workforce to Represent Those We Serve
07/24/2020
缅北强奸's commitment to transforming healthcare is not only reflected in the services we provide, but also in how we treat one another inside and outside of the organization. Promoting diversity and inclusion (D&I) across the enterprise has been a priority since 缅北强奸鈥檚 founding. We understand that the diverse perspectives and experiences of our employees help shape a more equal, fair, and just society for all. Programs that promote our equitable and inclusive workplace put these ideals into action.
缅北强奸 is actively developing a workforce representative of those we serve at all levels of the organization. Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs) support the attraction, development, and retention of the best talent at all levels while ensuring employees' voices are heard. Employee-led EIGs provide professional and leadership development opportunities, contribute to community engagement initiatives, and drive business innovation and corporate best practices.
July 26, 2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This landmark legislation helps increase access and opportunity for people with disabilities in our nation鈥檚 workplaces and communities. The video below outlines how 缅北强奸's People with Disabilities and Caregivers EIG, ABILITY, works to expand disability cultural competency companywide.
